Colin F

CEO, Voluntary Sector

I was made redundant earlier in the year and was fortunate enough to be allocated a sum of money by my employer to source some outplacement support. I have never used outplacement before and so was unclear where to start. From an internet search I compiled a list of several providers and I became increasingly frustrated at the corporate salesperson style response, what I was hoping for was a personal bespoke support that was tailored to my particular circumstances and my aspirations for the future.

I called Red Door Coaching and Training and spoke to Linda who immediately asked about me, my thoughts about my future and what type of support would work for me. Yippee!!

I had worked for the same organisation for approximately 13 years and although I had interviewed many candidates during my time I hadn’t actually been interviewed by an external panel for many years. From the very outset Linda understood this and supported me through the job search process, assisting and advising on my CV and practice interviews. With the help that I received from Red Door, I was fortunate enough to secure a CEO role with a well-known charity in the space of a few months. I am convinced this would not have been possible without Linda supporting me along the way.

I have Linda and Red Door Coaching to thank for their assistance in enabling me to progress to the next stage of my career, I am sure that I could not have been successful in finding a role that I wanted so quickly.

If you are looking for support that is personally tailored, appropriately challenging, fair and honest then I cannot recommend Red Door Coaching & Training highly enough.
